Is your car road trip ready?

Whether it’s a week long vacation or just a day trip, don’t hit the road without performing some basic checks to keep your car running safely on long rides this summer.

Check your spare.

When was the last time you checked the air pressure in your spare tire? The side of an unfamiliar highway is not where you want to find out it’s flat. If you never used them, check the location of your jack and tools so you aren’t hunting for them in a stressful situation.

Check your wiper blades.

Wiper blades have a lifespan of about 6 months. Especially sunny or dry climates can dry out and crack the rubber sooner.

Check all your fluid levels.

Windshield washer fluid, oil level, coolant, brake fluid, etc.

Make sure you are up to date on oil changes and tire rotations.
